Judge sets murder suspect’s bond at $500K

A bond was given to the Andalusia man accused of shooting his brother Tuesday.
District Judge Trippy Mc-Guire set Clare-nce Norris’ bond at $5-00,000 late Wednesday afternoon.

Norris is facing one count of murder after he confessed to shooting his brother, 50-year-old Cleve Wayne Norris, at their Bass Bridge Road home shortly before 10 a.m. Tuesday.
Investigators did not comment Wednesday on circumstances surrounding the shooting.
As of Wednesday evening, Norris had not made bond and remained in the Covington County Jail.
