Florala’s newest special event location, The Havana House, will open its doors for the first time to the public on Sunday.

Russell and Ann Shields, owners of The Lake House Bed and Breakfast, would like to invite the community to “The Havana House,” located, at 23527 Goldenrod Avenue in Florala, from noon to 3 p.m. for a tour.

This unique tropically decorated facility has six bedroom suites, a screened pool with pool house and spacious party areas inside. The large lawn is shaded with palms and pecan trees for classically southern outdoor weddings and events.

The Havana House will be available for weddings, family reunions, class reunions and group or company retreats.

All events require a minimum of two nights rental of six guest suites and a facility fee.
