Straughn High School’s Mary Beth Correro was named Covington County’s Distinguished Young Woman for 2012 Saturday night. She also won the self expression category.

First alternate was Meredith Grace Kerr; second alternate was Reagan Eiland, who also won the scholastic category; third alternate was Morgan Dove; and fourth alternate was Savannah Gerber, who also won the fitness category.

Other category winners were Ali Taylor, talent; Jennifer Botta, interview; Pierre Alexandra Johnson and Ansley Nicole Shipp, spirit award; and Savannah Ricks, be your best self.
