Tolbert earning time as freshman

After getting off to a fast start, the Auburn Tigers have lost three of its last four games with the lone win coming on the road against the College of Charleston last week.

 

Former Red Level Tiger and current Auburn freshman Frank Tolbert has played and scored in every game this season for Auburn. He is averaging 7 points per game and scored a season-high 21 against Furman. He also reached double figures in a loss to Wofford with 16 points.

 

The Auburn squad travels to Puerto Rico later this month for a tournament. The Tigers will play in the San Juan Shootout beginning Dec. 20. The Tigers play Delaware at 11 a.m. Monday followed by games against Middle Tennessee State and Toledo the next two days. All three games will begin at 11 a.m.

 

Auburn’s next home game is on Dec. 30 when Belmont visits Beard-Eaves-Memorial Coliseum. Tip-off is set for 8 p.m.
