Chris Mason is entering second season as the head coach of the Pleasant Home Eagles, and he has them heading in the right direction coming into the 2015 football season.

The Eagles defense pitched two shutouts in their spring jamboree, and the offense was effective with the ground game.

PHS will begin the fall with a scrimmage game at home against Zion Chapel on Aug. 21.

The following week on Aug. 28, the Eagles will travel to New Brockton to kick off the 2015 regular season.

In week two, the Eagles remain on the road, when they travel to McKenzie for the first region game of the season.

The Eagles return home on Sept. 11, when Notasulga comes to town for a 1A non-region match up.

Kinston comes to PHS on Sept. 18, for the Eagles second region game of the season.

The Eagles then hit the road for two weeks, when they travel to J.U. Blacksher on Sept. 25, and then open up October with a trip to region opponent Georgiana.

Red Level then makes the short trip across Covington County on Oct. 9, to face the Eagles in Pleasant Home for a region game.

The Eagles will then make a short trip to face county and region rival Florala in Florala on Oct. 16.

Closing out the season with two home games, PHS will face perennial 1A powerhouse Brantley on Oct. 23, before closing out the regular season against Samson on Oct. 30
