The Red Level Tigers (0-2) put forth another strong effort Friday night, but No. 9 ranked Notasulga (1-2) was able to pull out a 36-20 win.

After losing their first two games of the season, Notasulga came into the game with plans of running a quarterback by committee scheme.

It worked for the Blue Devils, as quarterback C.J. Cook ran for 125 yards on 12 carries and two touchdowns. Cook also returned a 78-yard kickoff for a score.

The Blue Devils other signal caller, Kahill Jones, rushed for 150 yards on 21 carries. Jones connected on 3-of-6 passes for 46 yards including a 29-yard touchdown pass.

Red Level will be back in action on Friday night when the Tigers travel to Florala to take on the Wildcats.

It will be the first region match for the Tigers of the 2015 season, and the second region game for the Wildcats, who lost to Georgiana Friday night, 65-0.

Both teams will be searching for their first win of the young season.

The Tigers and the Wildcats will kickoff at 7 p.m., in Florala.
