Red Level looks to end on high note

Red Level’s senior football players will suit up for the final time when the Tigers (3-6, 2-4) square off with the Fruitdale Pirates (3-6, 2-4) on Friday night Bobby Dye Stadium in Red Level.

Fruitdale won 27-6 last season in the first ever game between the Tigers and the Pirates.

On paper, both teams’ offenses match up evenly, with Florala scoring 21.5 points per game this season and Fruitdale scoring 23.8 points per game.

Defensively, it’s another even match up, with the Wildcats allowing 27 points per game and the Pirates allowing 29.6 points per game.

Seniors Jeffery Perdue, Dylan Jordan, Wesley Holley, Dameyune Scott and junior John Lee have each been pivotal for the Tigers on both sides of the ball.

Last week, Fruitdale picked up a 31-20 win over McIntosh.

Kickoff between the Tigers and the Pirates will be at 7 p.m., Friday in Red Level.
