The Pleasant Home Eagles’ football team picked up their first for head coach Chris Mason last year, and are looking to improve on that this year with hard work and dedication in the weight room.

“We are really starting to get stronger all the way around,” Mason said. “You are really seeing the size on these boys now.”

Mason said that this offseason the Eagles have worked hard to improve in the weight room.

“It’s been a good summer,” Mason said. “We had some guys that played travel baseball, but for the most part we had great participation.”

Even though they have been improving, Mason said the Eagles have to continue to push the envelop.

“We can’t get satisfied with where we are at,” Mason said. “That motivation is there though, I can see that they want to improve and they have shown me that they will do what it takes to improve.”
