Robert Scott win All-County Player of the Year

Pleasant Home junior Robert Scott had big hand in leading the Eagles’ to their first South Regional appearance in 14 years and has been named the Star-News All-County Boys Player of the Year.

Scott helped guide the Eagles to 23-8 record and perfect 8-0 record in Class 1A, Area 2.

In the 31 games, Scott scored 463 points for an average of 14.95 per game.

Scott was a huge threat from behind the arc, where he shot just over 40 percent and knocked down 82 3-pointers.

From the free-throw line, Scott hit 83-of-99 shots for an 84-percent shooting average.
