PHS puts pedal to the metal

The Pleasant Home Lady Eagles scored early and often on their way to a 25-7 victory over the Red Level Lady Tigers on Thursday night in Red Level.

In the top of the first inning, the Lady Eagles got a single from #13 to put them on top 4-0.

Tiffany Knoll picked up a pair of strikeouts on her way to a 1-2-3 frame.

Abby Walker ripped a line drove to center for a two-run double to put Pleasant Home on top 6-0.

Heading into the bottom of the second inning, Pleasant Home was on top 11-0.

#21 and #12 drove in four runs each in the Lady Eagles’ victory.

Alexis Perdue finished the game 1-for-1 with two RBI and one run scored for the Lady Tigers.
