The Red Level Tigers (0-5) know they have their work cut out for them this week as they go up against the undefeated Georgiana Panthers on Friday night in Georgiana.

Georgiana comes in with a five-game win streak and owns a 36-14-1 lifetime record against Red Level.

The Panthers have won the past six games between the two schools.

Red Level narrowly missed picking up a win Friday night at home during homecoming, but J.F. Shields got a last-minute touchdown to come away with a 22-15 win.

Georgiana has been one of the most dominant teams in Class 1A this season.

They have averaged 30-point victories and last week they upset Class 2A’s St. Lukes 38-30.

The Panthers have scored 259 points and given up just 85.

Georgiana and Houston County are the only undefeated teams left in Class 1A, Region 2.

Kickoff between Red Level and Georgiana will be at 7 p.m., Friday night in Georgiana.
