PHS prepared for region test

The Pleasant Home Eagles (3-3, 1-3) still have a mathematical chance at reaching the playoffs, but they must pull out a win tonight when they travel to Kinston to take on the Bulldogs (4-2, 2-2).

Kinston and Florala are currently tied for fourth and final playoff spot, with the Eagles just looming one-game behind.

Coming into the contest the Eagles have won two-straight games including a crucial 35-33 victory over Florala.

Kinston comes into the game winners of three-straight.

The Bulldogs beat Red Level 44-0, Zion Chapel 56-22 and McKenzie 59-28.

Kinston has scored 209 points so far this season and given up 193 points.

Pleasant Home has scored 169 points and given up 198 points.

The Eagles lead the series 9-8 including a 20-14 win last season.
