The Covington County Board of Education is one meeting away from completing hiring for the personnel roster completed for the 2018-19 school year, Superintendent Shannon Driver said Tuesday.

Yesterday the board:

• Hired Erin Elizabeth Jeffcoat Watkins as an elementary teacher at Pleasant Home.
• Hired James Kenneth Jennings as a paraprofessional at W.S. Harlan Elementary School.
• Transferred Heather E. Griffin from teaching elementary school at Pleasant Home to teach elementary at Red Level Elementary School.
• Transferred Jamie Carroll Snider from Red Level Elementary School to Red Level High School to teach math.
• Accepted the resignation of Heather Odom Williams, math teacher at Red Level High School.
