Coach Trent Taylor told a crowd that braved the cold to cheer the Andalusia High School Bulldogs at a pep rally on the Square last night that he hopes they’ll be in the stands tonight making noise.

The Bulldogs host Headland (10-1) in the second round of AHSAA 4A state play-offs. Game time is 7 p.m.

“Headland has never been this far in the play-offs,” he said. “We want all of y’all to come out and make some noise.”

AHSAA rules say there are no reserved seats in the playoffs, so a group of Bulldog moms is encouraging fans to form a spirit section starting at the 50 yardline for this week’s game.

“We are getting our chants and noisemakers ready,” Shannon Jackson posted on social media. “Just bring your Bulldog spirit!”
