Young Jack Wells appears to be happily anticipating sharing his dad’s pancake supper Tuesday night. Jack, the son of John and Kelly Wells, was among a group enjoying the annual Mardi Gras Pancake Supper at St. Mary’s Episcopal Church. Today marks the first day of Lent, the somber period of fasting in the Christian Church leading up to Easter.
