RUBY LEE WORLEY

Mrs. Ruby Lee Worley of Opp passed away Tue., June 30, 2020 at the Opp Health and Rehab. She was 95.

A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m., Thu., July 2, 2020 at Keahey Funeral Home Chapel. The family will receive friends at the daughter, Sharon Rendelman’s home (303 Stanley Street, Opp) and at Keahey Funeral Home from 9:30 a.m., until 10:45 a.m., on Thursday. Rev. Larry Jackson will officiate. The eulogy will be given her son-in-law, Wade Rendelman. Graveside will follow in Stone Lake Gardens. Keahey Funeral Home is entrusted with arrangements.

Left to cherish her memory, daughters, Sharon Rendelman (Wade) of Opp; Geneva Wright of Andalusia; son, Thomas Cartwright of Mobile; sister, Elaine Reeves (Roger) of Andalusia; grandchildren, Vanessa Myers (Josh), Aaron Stewart, Trista Cartwright Morris, Eddie Wright (Susie), Regina Wright; bonus grandchildren, Kristie Castro (Brad) and Brandon Rendelman; many great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her loving husband, James E. Worley, sons, Eugene Cartwright and Johnny Cartwright; granddaughter, Selina Cartwright and father and step mother, Oscar and Bertha Jackson and several siblings. Mrs. Worley was a lifelong resident of Covington County, she attended Mt. Pisgah Church of God church and was a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother.  According to all her knew her, she was “the finest biscuit and dumpling maker” around!

DELANA KERVIN

Mrs. Delana Kervin, age 76 of Andalusia, passed away on Monday, June 29th, 2020. A graveside service will be held at 1:00 PM Friday, July 3rd, 2020 at Andalusia Memorial Cemetery with Foreman Funeral Home directing. Family will meet with friends at the cemetery.

She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Tim and Tracey Lawson of Andalusia; daughter and son-in-law, Darlene and Tom Blevins of Prattville; three grandchildren, Courtney Finkelstein, Kasey Oaks, Travis Lawson; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Flowers will be accepted or donations can be made to the First Baptist Church of Gantt in memory of Mrs. Delana Kervin.
