PHS girls fall to T.R. Miller

A negative turned into a positive for the Pleasant Home Lady Eagles Thursday night.

The Lady Eagles traveled to Brewton to face T.R. Miller, and fell in three straight sets.

“We played as well as we can play,” PHS coach Jerry Davis said. “They’re better than we are, but it gave me a little hope.”

The Lady Eagles lost 19-25, 19-25, 10-25.

In addition, Pleasant Home’s match against W.S. Neal scheduled for earlier this week has been postponed until Mon., Oct. 4.

The Lady Eagles will return to action Tues., Sept. 28 on the road against Luverne. The junior varsity squad will start at 4 p.m.
