Red Level outscored Samson 22-16 in the first period, but trailed closely the rest of the game in a 74-67 area loss on Tuesday night.

The Tigers were outscored 18-13 in the second period, and 21-20 in the third period.

James Feagin led Red Level with 14 points. Nick Dorsey and Troy Nolen added 13 points each, and Preston Ryce contributed with nine points.

In B-team action, Samson won 47-46.

Red Level will travel to face area opponent New Brockton on Thursday night.
