Red Level boys coach Allen Catrett said despite a 64-54 win over Excel on Tuesday night, his team still has to learn how to play a complete 32 minutes.
“The only thing I can say is that we’ve got to learn how to finish a ball game,” Catrett said. “We’ve got to learn how to finish.”
Red Level led throughout the ball game over its regular season opponent. The Tigers led 15-7 after the first period, and 26-18 at half time. Red Level outscored Excel 28-26 in the second half.
Troy Nolen led the Tigers with 21 points. O.J. McGee had 13 points, and James Feagin had nine points.
The Tigers improve to 12-9 overall, and 2-2 in Class 2A, Area 2, and will play host to Zion Chapel in area action on Thursday night.
