Pleasant Home’s Lance Davis scored 14 points to help lead his team to a 46-37 road win over Ponce de Leon Saturday night.

“Saturday, we were probably the sloppiest we’ve played all year,” PHS boys coach Jerry Davis said.

Davis said the team trailed in the fourth period, where he set the press on Ponce de Leon, which turned out in the Eagles’ favor.

“It was a tough ball game all the way,” he said.

This was the second game back for Lance Davis. Davis led the Eagles with 18 points over Excel Friday night in his team’s 71-60 win.

The Eagles outscored Ponce de Leon 23-11 in the fourth period.

Cory Sims also had a great night for Pleasant Home (15-9) with 11 points. Jeffrey Slaughter had nine points.

Pleasant Home will play host to McKenzie tonight in regular season action. Tip off is around 7:15 p.m.
