Ronnie Douglas has been hired as the new Pleasant Home head football coach.

Douglas was approved by the Covington County Board of Education in its regularly scheduled meeting Thursday night.

“He’s qualified, reliable and highly recommended,” PHS principal Craig Nichols said. “He fell in our lap. He comes highly recommended.”

Douglas replaces former coach Robert Bradford, who took an assistant coaching position at Enterprise High School.
