Red Level’s quarterback club elected officers and chose its signature fundraiser at a regularly scheduled meeting Thursday night.
The offices of president, vice president and secretary-treasurer were nominated and voted on by club members present.
The new president of the quarterback club is Kyle Adams; vice president Scott Jernigan; and secretary-treasurer Dawn Kelley.
The first fundraiser the club will sponsor will be an alumni football game, which will take place Fri., Aug. 12, at 7 p.m. at Bobby Dye Stadium.
Admission to the game is $3 per person, and those interested in purchasing reserved seats can do so at the game. No prices have been set yet, but Adams said they will be set at a reasonable rate.
The fundraiser the club voted to install as its signature event the Bobby Dye 5K Run, which will be held for its first run next spring. Plans are in the works for the run, and more information will be released at a later date.
“I think that would be a great signature fundraiser,” RLS head football coach Tony Ingram said at the meeting.
To get the stadium ready for the upcoming season, the club will also be holding a clean up day on Sat., July 30, starting at 7 a.m. until. Those interested in helping are asked to bring cleaning equipment.
The next RLS quarterback club meeting will take place next Thurs., July 28, at 7 p.m. in the auditorium.
