RLS players win in inaugural game

Red Level’s varsity team rallied from behind with 8 seconds left in the game to beat the “old school” 25-20 in the school’s inaugural alumni game.

James Feagin scored late in the game on a pass from quarterback Troy Nolen.

CJ Lawerence sealed the deal with an extra point.

Earlier in the game, old school struck out to an 8-0 lead when Larry Hudson scored a touch down and two-point conversion.

The varsity answered with a touchdown by KJ Lawrence. The extra point. Attempt was no good, making the score 8-6 in favor of the old school.

With 8 minutes left in the first half, Raheem Bullock scored a touch down, with an unsuccessful extra point, putting the varsity up 12-8.

Feagin scored a touchdown again before the half was over. Hudson stopped his second point attempt.

Old school’s Christopher Wright scored just before the half, putting his team within four points of the varsity.

The second half remained scoreless until 1:47 left when Hudson scored to make it 18-20 in favor of his team.
