MONTGOMERY — There aren’t many teams that can say they made it to the second day of the Alabama High School Athletic Association’s state softball tournament at Lagoon Park.

Pleasant Home’s Lady Eagles accomplished that feat today, finishing in the top four in Class 1A.

PHS’ incredible run came to an end, where it fell to rival Kinston 3-2 in an elimination game.

In the first game today, the Lady Eagles beat Woodville 13-3 in six innings.

The Lady Eagles finished in fourth place at the Class 1A state softball tournament, and completed their season 24-18.
